How did Janno Gibbs portrayed the role of Detective Zenigata in the Pinoy version of Lupin 3?

Detective Zenigata? Does the name ring a bell? Does this name sound familiar? Of course! Who would not remember the foolish, comical, and funny Detective Zenegata from the Anime cartoon, Lupin III? Do you know that Detective Zenegata has a counterpart here in the Philippines? It is Inspector Claudio Angeles portrayed by the Filipino actor, Mr. Janno Gibbs. J

Don’t you miss the desperate detective’s reaction everytime Lupin escapes from Detective Zenegata/Inspector Claudio’s custody? I find it just funny looking at the inspector’s face whenever he is in despair of catching the witty, quick, and genius Lupin. However, there are also times that Inspector Claudio/Detective Zenegata together with Lupin are trapped in a situation where they both have to save their lives. What happens is that they forget that they are opponents as of the moment; though, they help each other get out of the situation. Funny it may seem but I also find their relationship cute!;-) Their relationship shows that they could be friends though they are just individuals who are serious with their jobs—the detective/inspector in catching criminals/syndicates and Lupin-in obtaining more cash from theft and outwitting disreputable, affluent individuals.

Janno Gibbs had played the role of Inspector Claudio as humorous as Detective Zenegata in the Anime cartoon. Janno portrayed the silly, gullible, and clumsy character of Inspector Cladio/Detective Zenegata in the Pinoy version of Lupin III. As compared to the Anime (cartoon) version, the cartoon version is all action, escaping scenes, close encounter with the enemies and getting out of trouble quickly.
